Dr. Kenny L. Flaming was born and raised in California but as he explains it "he wasn't born here in Louisiana but he got here as soon as he could!" 

Kenny has been in the ministry for over 25 years and comes from a rich pentecostal background. He has an Earned Doctorate in Religious Studies. Having served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, jail and prison minister, worship leader, and various positions in the theological training field.

He has served on the State Youth and Christian Education; the Ministerial Development Board for the Louisiana Church of God, as well as various administrative positions for several theological institutions.

Presently he proudly serves the Vermilion Parish community as Pastor of Cross Pointe Church.  Having lived in Louisiana for nearly half of his life he understands the sense of pride that only comes from being a resident of this great state.

He has been married to his wife Tammy have been married since 1987, they have four beautiful daughters, four sons-in-law, and currently have 12 grandchildren.

He is also a die-hard New Orleans Saint’s fan and proud member of the Who Dat Nation!
